In a plateau of Velouhi, in altitude 1840 m. in the place "Diavolotopos", is found the Ski Centre of Karpenisi that abstains 12 km from the city of Karpenisi. It was then permanently created in 1974 and from it is improved. It allocates 10 slopes of different levels of difficulty of oscillating hypsometric difference from 1800-2040m., 7 lifts (3 crawling, 4 air), that can service 5.150 individuals per hour, shops of sale and renting of types ski and mechanically-driven sledges, facilities ski. Also, functioning Chalet of hospitality of 100 individuals, restaurant, cafeteria, bar and first aids in the dance floors. From lifts you have splendid view to the city, the mountains of region, but also all central Greece.
